Before your wedding, we'll have a proper chat about the kind of atmosphere you want, the music you love, your favourite artists and songs, and anything you definitely don't want played.

Whether you're into 90s and 00s classics, R&B, house, disco, indie, Motown, UK Garage or the latest chart music, I'll build the evening around you and your guests.

The aim is simple:

Great music. Great atmosphere. Packed dancefloor.

I'm not there simply to press play on a pre-made wedding playlist. I read the room, react to your guests and adapt the music throughout the night to keep the energy building.

Why Hyde House is such a great wedding venue

Hyde House has a really unique feel.

The venue combines a traditional Victorian country house with modern wedding spaces and the beautiful Hyde Barn, giving couples the best of both worlds.

Ceremonies can take place in The Grange or outside beneath the oak arbour, before guests move through to the reception spaces. The Grange features rustic oak beams and large windows overlooking the Cotswold countryside.

Then comes the part I love – the evening.

Hyde Barn – where the party happens

Hyde Barn has vaulted ceilings, double-height windows and dedicated areas for the band and DJ, with guests able to move straight from the tables onto the dancefloor.

It's a brilliant space for a wedding party because the entertainment is naturally at the heart of the room.

Once the first dance is finished, that's when we turn the music up and get the party started.

There isn't a set playlist that works for every wedding.

You might want to start the evening with some classic wedding favourites before moving into 90s and 00s throwbacks, R&B, indie anthems and singalong classics, before taking things towards house, dance and modern floor-fillers.

Or you might want something completely different.

That's the great thing about having a professional wedding DJ – your evening can be built around you.

I'll read the dancefloor and make sure the music develops naturally throughout the night.

From your first dance to the final song, the goal is to have your friends and family on the dancefloor, singing along and enjoying themselves.

I can also provide additional options such as an LED dancefloor, depending on the look and feel you're going for.

Everything is planned in advance so that when the evening arrives, you can simply enjoy your wedding and let me take care of the music.
